The Roman spa, where you can enjoy five different kinds of baths is a spa that pursues a tranquilizing atmosphere through the use of flowing blowout baths. Here you can enjoy five different kinds of baths: a jacuzzi, kihouseki or crystal bath known for its effect of promoting beautiful skin, a bedrock sauna that can be enjoyed free of charge, half bath and large bath.
Especially popular is the crystal bath, which consists of pouring crystal powder into a 100% natural hot spring. It is known to make your skin smooth!
At the Golden spa, there is a crystal bedrock sauna and normal sauna in addition to a main bath, its walls and surface constructed from Shigaraki ware, a famous stoneware from Shiga prefecture.
The Shigaraki bath is of the utmost purity, with its water flowing directly from the hot spring source.

The American spa is a healthy spa with functions such as the jacuzzi. It is popular with our female guests.
The half bath involves dipping only your lower half of the body in the tub, the pit of the stomach and below. Doing so increases one's metabolism.
When the top half of your body feels cold, warm yourself up by pouring hot water onto your shoulders.
Once you start sweating from the upper half of your body, you should feel warm from your core.
Kihouseki is a type of mineral mainly consisting of crystals created about 3000 years ago from crustal movement, only recently discovered from geological investigation.
Because of the short time since its discovery, this crystal is not yet well known among the public. However when used for bathing purposes, studies show that it softens the water and helps keep the body warm after bathing, as well as having a positive effect on fatigue recovery and skin beautification.
Although crystal powder is settled at the bottom of the bath, its components have a positive effect on your skin so please be rest assured and enjoy your bath.
A bedrock sauna that utilizes geothermal heat and the warming effetcs of crystals.
Spread a bath towel on the floor and lie on it relaxingly for 15 to 20 minutes until you begin to sweat slightly. Make sure you consume enough water when in the bedrock sauna. If you feel excessively hot then stop use right away. Unlike a normal sauna, there is no need to endure the heat so please enjoy the bedrock sauna according to your physical condition.

A hot spring was found at Arimakan through drilling in 1921.
At the time, the amount of water pouring from the source was a whopping 116 liters per minute. Because of the large amount of naturally flowing water, a 4.5m long pipe was built to regulate the amount of water. However vast amounts of water still kept pouring from above the pipes, hence the name Golden spa. The current large bath of the Golden spa is created on the spot of the initial discovery.

The semi outdoor bath is made of shigaraki ware and is of the utmost purity, with its water flowing directly from the hot spring source.
The crystal bedrock sauna is located in the same area as the semi outdoor bath.

The deep depth of the bath allows you to stand in the bath and feel the hydraulic pressure throughout your whole body.

Pamukkale means “Cotton Palace” in Turkish, and is an UNESCO World Heritage Site located in Denizli province, western Turkey. During the 2nd century AD there existed a Roman city called Hierapolis at this spot.
Today only its ruins remain. Calcium carbonate contained in the hot water coming out from the ground precipitated on the surface and created a landscape looking like pure white terraced fields. A team of specialists who were engaged in the design of Disneyland and Disney Sea stayed at the Arimakan and designed this bath. They spent a lot of time elaborating their ideas to create this splendid bath. Please enjoy this private bath in addiAon to the other private outdoor baths as a fond memory of your stay.
Yawaragi is a private bath that is easily accessible for guests with disabilities. Fully equipped with handrails, the bath surface is flat all around and the edges of the bath are designed spaciously so that users can sit down with ease. Wheelchair users can use this bath and there is also a shower chair available. This bath is named Yawaragi, meaning peace and composure in Japanese to describe a bath that is friendly to people.
The water which flows directly from Arimakan's hot spring source is drinkable, safety accredited from the health department. Our guests say that drinking the source water has helped them with digestion and getting rid of pimples. Studies show that drinking the water also helps reduce fat. The hot spring is very effective in several ways.
Furthermore, the drinking place of the source water at Arimakan is different to other hotels. The spring flows out from a pot of the statue of a medicine Buddha, which is also the guardian of the hot spring. Combined with the Buddha's blessing, the water is sure to bring good health to those who drink it.
